The studio will be recognized for its sustainable production program on October 15 at MIPCOM Cannes.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Secuoya Studios will receive the MIP SDG Award<\/strong>, presented by MIPCOM Cannes<\/strong> in association with the United Nations<\/strong>, in recognition of the positive impact of its sustainable production program. The award will be presented during the renowned international content market for television and streaming, taking place from October 13 to 16, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Secuoya Studios: A Commitment to the Environment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This prestigious industry award acknowledges Secuoya Studios\u2019 dedication to reducing the environmental impact of its productions, both internally and across the broader industry. The studio\u2019s sustainability efforts began with environmentally responsible practices implemented during the filming of the series \u2018Montecristo\u2019 <\/strong>and \u2018Zorro\u2019<\/strong>, and have continued in subsequent projects such as the recently released \u2018Matices\u2019<\/strong> and its latest campaign, \u2018El Homenaje\u2019<\/strong>, all shot across different locations in Spain.<\/p>\n

The award will be presented on October 15<\/strong> by Caroline Petit<\/strong>, Deputy Director of the United Nations Regional Information Centre (UNRIC)<\/strong> for Europe. The ceremony will take place at the MIP CREATIVE HUB<\/strong>, where various sustainable initiatives by Secuoya Studios will be highlighted, including the Greenbook<\/em>\u2014developed by Fundaci\u00f3n Secuoya<\/strong> in collaboration with the eco-management consultancy Mrs. Greenfilm<\/strong>; the establishment of the Sustainable Management Seal<\/em> in partnership with T\u00dcV S\u00dcD<\/strong>; and the creation of the studio\u2019s internal Sustainability in Production<\/em> department.<\/p>\n

A Growing Industry Movement<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Caroline Petit congratulated the studio for its dedication and best ecological practices: \u201cI thank MIPCOM CANNES for offering this important annual platform and warmly congratulate Secuoya Studios for its commitment to sustainable production. Created in 2020<\/strong>, the MIP SDG Award<\/strong> recognizes how progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong> can be accelerated through editorial, communication, and business practices within the television industry.
