The dramedy \u2018Solos\u2019 took center stage on the second day of the 29th M\u00e1laga Film Festival. Starring Salva Reina, Kira Mir\u00f3, Carlos Santos, and Elia Galera, the film was part of the Official Selection (Out of Competition), marking its first public screening.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, March 7, the four actors and part of the film\u2019s team attended the presentation of the feature, celebrating its debut at the M\u00e1laga-based festival. The film is set to hit theaters on April 10. Director Guillermo R\u00edos and producer Eduardo Campoy were also present, with Campoy celebrating his 100th film with \u2018Solos\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201c\u2018Solos\u2019 is a drama with a strong layer of ironic comedy, but above all, it\u2019s a journey of healing, friendship, love, strengthening bonds, and all the emotions that arise along the way,\u201d<\/em> said Guillermo R\u00edos during the Q&A, where he highlighted the depth of the themes explored by the characters throughout the story.<\/p>\n \u201cAna has been an expressive vehicle to portray the challenges women face in striving to be and appear successful,\u201d<\/em> said Elia Galera about her character, also emphasizing the emotional impact of the film as a reflection of \u201ca highly representative generational range.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The film had two exclusive screenings during the M\u00e1laga Film Festival<\/strong>: the official screening on the afternoon of Saturday, March 7, at Cine Alb\u00e9niz, attended by the cast and crew; and a second screening the following day, Sunday, March 8, at 7:30 PM at Multicines Rosaleda.<\/p>\n
