Synopsis

The story is about Miguel, the owner of the company Coartadas. The company specializes in creating alibis for people who want to deceive their partners or have pre-made excuses to avoid certain situations.

After completing a job that involved driving a hearse, Miguel accidentally runs over a young woman named Noelia. Fortunately, it’s not serious—he only breaks her finger. They take her to the hospital, where they meet and immediately like each other. They start dating and eventually fall in love.

Noelia tells Miguel that she is a judge and that she despises liars and frauds. To avoid trouble, Miguel lies and tells her that he runs a funeral home. One day, he meets her parents, only to discover that her father is one of his clients—he had hired Miguel’s company to help him cheat on his wife.
