Javier Bermúdez de Castro came to Secuoya Content Group in February 2015, as a lawyer specialized in Technology, Media and Telecommunications. In February 2021, he moved to Secuoya Studios as Head of Legal. His extensive curriculum notably includes companies such as Airbus and Deutsche Bank, as well as his evolution within Secuoya Content Group, where he previously performed the role of Legal Director of La7. His professional growth has led to him forming part of our studio.

Lawyer specialized in the audiovisual sector

A graduate in International Business Management and Administration at the University of Villanueva and in Law at the Complutense University of Madrid, his training has taken him around the world: from the European Business School in Paris, to Berkeley College (New York). He completed his studies with the Master’s in Professional Development, Law and Business at the University of Alcalá and the Master’s in Image Rights and Representation of Artists and Sportspeople at the Rey Juan Carlos University and Pons Foundation. His audiovisual career at Grupo Secuoya began in 2015 as the company’s in-house lawyer, before taking on, in 2018, the responsibilities of Legal Director at the regional television broadcaster La7 where he remained until 2021, when he became Head of Legal of Secuoya Studios. In this company he has participated in all the productions that the studio has developed right from the outset. Bermúdez de Castro is a regular teacher on the Master’s in Audiovisual Content Executive Production and on the Master’s in Screenwriting at the Core Entertainment Science School (UNIE University), a teacher and coordinator of the audiovisual module on the Master’s in Representation and Management of Artists and Sportspeople at the ISDE Law & Business School, collaborating teacher on the High Specialization Diploma in Audiovisual Law at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as collaborating teacher on the Master’s in Digital Law and Business Tech at the Chamber of Commerce of Granada and EDIAE.
