"We are excited for audiences to discover Arcadia, our new SkyShowtime Original series. A gripping story that has all the ingredients to captivate from start to finish: action, love, and revenge, combined with a fantastic cast," said Kai Finke, Chief Content Officer at SkyShowtime.
Love and Ghosts from the Past
Arcadia tells the story of Pablo, a coach for a local youth Canarian wrestling team, who lives peacefully with his son Bruno in Arcadia. No one would guess that this calm, affable neighbor is hiding a violent and dark past. He once lived on the edge in Mexico, until becoming a father made him rethink his life. One day, he fled with young Bruno—something Bruno’s mother, Valeria, has never forgiven. When Valeria reappears in their lives, Pablo must face the ghosts of his past, the destruction of his paradise, and the threat to his new love story with Irene.
Arcadia is a production of Arcadia La Serie (Secuoya Studios), in collaboration with ViX and SkyShowtime. The series is written by Lidia Fraga and Jacobo Díaz and directed by Jorge Saavedra. Executive producers include David Martínez, Sergio Pizzolante, Carlos Portela, William Levy, and Jeff Goldberg.
SkyShowtime continues its commitment to exciting storytelling following the premiere of the psychological thriller Matices, also produced by Secuoya Studios alongside Stellarmedia—a title that reached the platform’s top three most-watched premieres in its first week.
