Produced by Secuoya Studios' Unscripted Division in collaboration with the Princess of Girona Foundation
Next Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m., the CaixaForum Madrid Auditorium will host the world premiere of 'Generación Docentes', a documentary feature produced by the Unscripted division of Secuoya Studios in collaboration with the Princess of Girona Foundation. This project captures the first professional experience of five education students in rural schools across different regions of Spain.
The event will be attended by the documentary’s technical and artistic team and will take place following the Princess of Girona School of the Year Award ceremony—an award recognizing a school for offering a pioneering model in transformative and creative education.
A closer look at rural education
With an intimate approach, 'Generación Docentes' follows Noa Dahlander, Lleir Santamarta, Nerea González, Marina Moral, and Eire Borruey—five education students who face their first teaching experience in rural schools located in Aragón, Castilla y León, Extremadura, and Galicia.
Through a factual narrative, the documentary highlights how this experience shapes their view of teaching and their personal growth. It also pays tribute to the essential work of rural schools and their communities, showcasing how education adapts to the pace of life and the deep-rooted connection to the rural environment.
