Produced by El Homenaje la serie S.L. (Secuoya Studios) and Stellarmedia, in association with SkyShowtime and in collaboration with Prime Video

The series 'El Homenaje' will premiere on SkyShowtime on April 23. The new psychological thriller directed by Sergio Cánovas will launch on the platform with a four-episode drop, followed by an additional four episodes the following week.

'El Homenaje' brings together a story of secrets, family and power, led by a high-profile ensemble cast including Eusebio Poncela (in his final fiction role), Miriam Giovanelli, Juana Acosta, Enrique Arce, Raúl Prieto, Luis Tosar, Luisa Mayol and Elsa Pataky. The cast is further complemented by Manu Ríos, Álvaro Rico, Ángela Molina, Óscar de la Fuente, Lola Alterio and Georgina Amorós.

Exclusive presentation at the Festival de Málaga

The series arrives following its exclusive presentation in the “5 Minutos” section at the 29th edition of the Festival de Málaga, held on March 13, with attendance from the director and part of the cast.

'El Homenaje' follows the story of Adolfo Novak, patriarch of one of the country’s most powerful families, who gathers his relatives and close circle to celebrate his 80th birthday. Beneath the toasts and smiles lie decades of secrets, betrayals, blind loyalties and a deep desire for revenge. The evening spirals out of control, ultimately revealing a truth far more unexpected and shocking than anyone could have anticipated.

Produced by El Homenaje la serie S.L. (Secuoya Studios) and Stellarmedia, in association with SkyShowtime and in collaboration with Prime Video, 'El Homenaje' is executive produced by Elsa Pataky and Sergio Cánovas, who also serves as director. The series is written by Javier Naya and Martín Suárez, and created by both alongside Sergio Cánovas.
