The film will open in Cinépolis theaters on December 25. Directed by Ana Lorena Pérez, the film stars Omar Chaparro and Mariana Calderón.
The film ‘La celda de los milagros’ held its premiere presentation in Mexico on December 17 at a Friends & Family event, where some of its cast members were able to enjoy an exclusive screening ahead of its theatrical release at Cinépolis (Mexico) on December 25.
Secuoya Studios and Black Sheep Productions, in co-production with The42Film, Rock & Ruz, Angostura and N&L Films, celebrate the release of ‘La celda de los milagros’, a project born from the collaboration between the Spanish content studio and leading Latin American production companies, filmed entirely in Colombia and Mexico.
Produced by Alberto Müffelmann (‘El Diario’), Miguel Ruz (‘Nowhere’) and Juan Mayne (Mala influencia), ‘La celda de los milagros’ features executive production by Mónica Aguirre, Paula Manzanedo, Jordi Roca, Julieta Luján and Jeff Glaser. The creative team is completed by screenwriter Patricio Saiz, cinematography by Paulo Pérez (One Hundred Years of Solitude), and production design by Jonny Torres (La vorágine).

The story stars Omar Chaparro (‘No manches Frida’) and Mariana Calderón, alongside prominent figures from the Latin American film industry such as Gustavo Sánchez Parra (‘Amores Perros’), Natalia Reyes (‘Terminator: Dark Fate’), Sofía Álvarez (‘El Diario’), Arturo Ríos (‘The House of Flowers’), Marco Treviño (‘Pancho Villa: El centaur of the north’), and Biassini Segura (‘Medusa’).
