The presentation featured Salva Reina, Kira Miró, Carlos Santos, and Elia Galera
In theaters April 10
Loneliness can appear even when we think we are surrounded by company. Kira Miró, Carlos Santos, Salva Reina and Elia Galera star in 'Solos', a story about friendship, connection, and personal relationships, arriving in theaters on April 10.
Madrid celebrated the premiere of 'Solos' on the evening of Thursday, March 26. The film, directed by Guillermo Ríos ('Solo una vez'), is a cinematic adaptation of Paloma Bravo’s play of the same name. The event took place at Cines Verdi in Madrid, with the cast and much of the crew walking the red carpet to welcome this moving story.
“From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to Paloma Bravo for writing this piece and drawing inspiration from Eva, and to Eduardo Campoy for discovering it,” said Guillermo Ríos during the discussion before the screening.
Solos also marks a milestone as the 100th film produced by Eduardo Campoy, who celebrates the release with emotion after more than three decades in the Spanish film industry. Written by Manuel Gancedo ('Superagente Makey'), this dramedy features an exceptional Spanish cast including Kira Miró ('Cuánto me queda'), Salva Reina ('Coartadas'), Carlos Santos ('Todos lo hacen'), and Elia Galera ('Under a Volcano').
‘Solos’, a Film to Watch Together
Four friends gather for a pleasant dinner with the simple goal of enjoying life, wine in hand, and leaving personal problems aside. Yet, as the evening progresses, frustrations emerge, and conversations turn to topics that unsettle: fear, relationships, friendship, sex, work, complicity, and even death.
A story told quietly yet powerfully, with humor, tenderness, and deep empathy. Between laughter and pain, the four protagonists of Solos face their fears and disappointments, regain hope, and, above all, learn to laugh at themselves.
'Solos' premieres in theaters April 10.
