Secuoya Studios announces the production of ‘The Butterfly Labyrinth’, an ambitious eight-episode romantic thriller starring international star Can Yaman (‘Sandokan,’ ‘El Turco,’ ‘Viola come il mare’). The production marks the Turkish actor’s debut in a series filmed in Spain and in Spanish, alongside a top-tier cast featuring María de Nati (‘Las pelotaris 1926’), Andrea Duro (‘La favorita 1922’), Félix Gómez (‘La Caza’), Noa Rollón (‘Cristo y Rey’), Michelle Calvo (‘Entrevías’), Leander Vyvey (‘Punto Nemo’), Paco Tous (‘El cuento del lobo’), Marta Solaz (‘Daddy Daughter Trip’), Víctor Clavijo (‘La Frontera’), Antonio Gil (‘Celeste’), and Jorge Suquet (‘Cuando nadie nos ve’).

 

The series is directed by Alberto Ruiz Rojo (‘Montecristo’) and Iñaki Peñafiel (‘Perdida’), who bring their extensive and acclaimed experience in television fiction. 

The series is executive produced by Eduardo Galdo (‘The Crossroad’), creator of the original concept, together with Lele Portas (‘Heridas’) as executive producer. Ángela Obón (‘4 estrellas’) and Daniel Corpas (‘Cuando nadie nos ve’) penned the screenplay, which delivers a thrilling narrative filled with intrigue, action, and emotional depth. 

Synopsis

A secret agent with an impeccable record is betrayed and becomes the most wanted man in Spain. As he fights to clear his name and expose those behind a multimillion-euro theft from the state coffers, he will discover that love may be his greatest weakness… or his only salvation.
