Camino De Valcárcel, Head of International Executive Co-Productions, took part in a panel on the global reach of audiovisual content
On May 28, Camino De Valcárcel, Head of International Executive Co-Productions at Secuoya Studios, participated in Rio2C 2025, the leading creativity and innovation event in Latin America. She joined as a speaker on the panel Passport to the World: The Global Reach of Audiovisual, which brought together prominent industry figures to discuss the global impact of audiovisual productions.
During the session, Camino presented Secuoya Studios’ global strategies, offering an inside look at the production processes behind some of its international projects. The panel also featured participation from Javiera Balmaceda (Amazon MGM Studios), Fabiano Gullane (Gullane, Brazil), and Fabio Cesnik (Founding Partner of CQS/FV Advogados).
Together, they addressed key issues such as the importance of cultural adaptation in content, the impact of streaming platforms, and the challenges of taking productions to international markets. The discussion offered valuable insights into the keys to success in the global audiovisual industry, unveiling distribution strategies and innovative business models in an increasingly interconnected landscape.
“It was an honor to share the stage with industry leaders like Javiera, Fabiano, and Fabio. These spaces not only foster knowledge exchange but also help create synergies that enrich our own productions and open new doors for international collaboration” Camino highlighted.
In 2024, Rio2C consolidated its position as the main meeting point for the creative industries in Latin America, bringing together more than 50,000 attendees and around 1,700 speakers. This year, it has once again reaffirmed its role as an essential platform for anticipating trends, building alliances, and promoting innovation across the sector.
