Secuoya Studios brings 'Los 39' to the Cartagena International Film Festival

The second day of FICCI featured an exclusive screening of the series for invited accredited guests

Secuoya Studios once again made its presence felt at the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) with an exclusive screening of 'Los 39', one of its latest fiction productions. The series' producers and lead actors traveled to the Colombian city to participate in this special preview for invited accredited guests, held during the festival's second day.

On Wednesday, April 2, actors Ángela Cano, Diego Vásquez and Lucho Velasco, accompanied by the series' producer Martha Godoy and Daniel Hernández Bocanegra, General Director for Latin America at Secuoya Content Group, led the event showcasing the studio’s first transatlantic project, a year after filming began.

'Los 39', which has received the CINA incentive granted by the Colombian government and managed by Proimágenes, is a production that goes beyond its official version. Its story delves into the lives of each of its protagonists, blending thriller, drama, love, and survival.

Directed by Max Lemcke ('Casual Day') and Jorge Saavedra ('Zorro'), Los 39 features a strong cast of actors, including Ángela Cano, Diego Vásquez, and Lucho Velasco, as well as Hugo Silva, Pablo Derqui, Victor Rebull, Akima Maldonado, Daniel Grao, Sandra Reyes, Alejandra Preciado, and Robert Aguilar.

With this, Secuoya Studios reinforces its commitment to FICCI, the longest-running film festival in Latin America, in this new edition—an essential strategic platform where the company reaffirms its dedication to internationalizing its projects and fostering co-productions between countries, as seen in 'Los 39', filmed between Colombia and Spain.
