The premiere of this co-production by Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia took place at Cines Callao, with the attendance of its stars Enrique Arce, Hovik Keuchkerian, Juana Acosta, Fariba Sheikhan, Miriam Giovanelli, Eusebio Poncela, Raúl Prieto, Luis Tosar, Alfonso Bassave and Elsa Pataky

'Matices' will be available on SkyShowtime starting June 5

Madrid rolled out the red carpet for the official presentation of 'Matices', the new fiction series from Secuoya Studios. A series co-produced with Stellarmedia, in collaboration with SkyShowtime, it will be available on the platform starting Thursday, June 5.

The premiere, held at Cines Callao in the heart of the capital, featured the presence of the cast, much of the crew, and numerous celebrities who didn't want to miss the first two episodes of this psychological thriller. Enrique Arce, Hovik Keuchkerian, Juana Acosta, Fariba Sheikhan, Miriam Giovanelli, Eusebio Poncela, Raúl Prieto, Luis Tosar, Alfonso Bassave, and Elsa Pataky attended the event to present, for the first time, this gripping project that combines tension, suspense, hints of horror, and subtle touches of humor.

"A tailor-made series"

The evening, hosted by presenter Lidia Torrent, began with appearances by Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime, and Juan Mayne, Director of Content for Iberia at the platform. It was followed by a speech from Brendan Fitzgerald, CEO of Secuoya Studios, who expressed pride in the result of a series crafted down to the last detail: "Being here on Gran Vía with all the teams who worked to make this series a reality is a dream come true. The production and executive production teams at Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia have created a psychological thriller tailor-made for SkyShowtime", said Fitzgerald during his address.

The presentation highlighted the creative process behind the series, the arrival of the scripts to the actors, and how they prepared their roles—some with a particularly special meaning. One such character is played by Juana Acosta, who portrays a woman suffering from gender-based violence: "I prepared for the role with psychiatrists and psychologists. My character is named Ana Morantes in honor of Ana Orantes, the first Spanish woman to publicly denounce her situation as a victim of domestic abuse".

Callao City Lights hosted the screening of the first two episodes and a brief preview of the rest of the season. 'Matices' is an original series created by Javier Naya, Alex Meriweather and Sergio Cánovas—who also directs and produces—alongside María García-Castrillón with co-production from Camino de Valcárcel, Meriweather and Naya.

SkyShowtime will release the first three episodes of Matices on June 5, followed by one new episode each week.
