Secuoya Studios heads to Séries Mania Festival 2026

Andrés Zamora, Director of Pre-Sales and Distribution, took part in the panel How Can Distributors Stay Relevant When Platforms Form Alliances?

Secuoya Studios continues to strengthen its international presence with its participation in the 2026 Séries Mania International Festival, held from March 24 to 26 in Lille, France. The studio once again positions itself as an active player at the event through its involvement in festival sessions designed to discuss the current state of the audiovisual industry.

Andrés Zamora, Global Director of Pre-Sales and Distribution at Secuoya Studios, participated in the panel How Can Distributors Stay Relevant When Platforms Form Alliances?, held during the morning session on March 25 at the Théâtre Marie Curie. The discussion focused on analyzing the evolving role of distributors in a context shaped by alliances between broadcasters, streaming platforms, and new distribution channels.

The session addressed key issues such as the transformation of financing models, the impact of content oversaturation on secondary markets, and the role of pre-sales in an increasingly competitive ecosystem. Moderated by Leona Connell, the panel also included Iris Bucher (founding producer of Quad Drama and president of USPA), Kate Barnes (SVP Global Content at ITV Studios), and Oliver Bachert (Chief Distribution Officer at Beta Films), who provided a global perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing distribution in the international market.

Secuoya Studios’ participation in Séries Mania, once again, reinforces its position in the international audiovisual industry circuit, consolidating its commitment to innovation in business models and its active role in key debates about the future of the sector.
