The arrival of the producer expands the production capacity within the content studio’s film division.
Secuoya Studios announces the addition of film producer Jaime Gona to its film division, with the aim of developing new cinematic projects and continuing to expand this strategic area within the content studio.
“The arrival of Jaime Gona represents a very important step in the consolidation of our film division. His track record, creative sensibility and experience in developing projects with a strong identity fully align with Secuoya Studios’ vision. With his addition, we strengthen our strategy to generate relevant, ambitious cinema with global reach,” said Brendan Fitzgerald, CEO of Secuoya Studios.
With a solid career behind him, Jaime Gona has built his path as a producer by championing critically acclaimed films with notable national and international exposure.
Among the young producer’s most significant works are ‘Los comensales’ (Audience Award in the ZonaZine section at the Málaga Film Festival), Selfie by Víctor García León (Critics’ Award at the Málaga Film Festival and an extensive run on the international festival circuit), and ‘Los europeos’, a co-production with France based on the novel of the same name by Rafael Azcona, which received several nominations at the Goya Awards and the Feroz Awards, including Best Comedy Film.
These titles will soon be joined by upcoming releases such as ‘Día de caza’, directed by Pedro Aguilera and starring Carmen Machi, Rossy de Palma, Blanca Portillo and Zoé Arnao; ‘El profesor’ (Atresmedia Cine, Gonita and 4 Cats Pictures), the second feature film by Daniel Castro starring Javier Gutiérrez; the documentary ‘Carlos Saura: ese niño de la fotografía’, directed by Anna Saura; and ‘Ultravioleta’, written and directed by Mamen Díaz (‘Violeta no coge el ascensor’).
With his arrival at Secuoya Studios, Jaime Gona will focus on driving and developing new film projects, helping to strengthen and diversify the studio’s commitment to cinema.

His addition is integrated into the studio’s film structure, which includes projects led by Eduardo Campoy together with Álamo Producciones Audiovisuales, as well as the development of international films through the Pods—consolidating an area that brings together industrial experience, creative vision and international projection.
