A dramedy starring Kira Miró, Carlos Santos, Salva Reina, and Elia Galera
Four friends. One dinner. Small lies. Secuoya Studios presents the trailer for ‘Solos’, the new film directed by Guillermo Ríos (‘Solo una vez’) and produced by Eduardo Campoy.
The feature film brings together performances by Kira Miró, Carlos Santos, Salva Reina, and Elia Galera. A cinematic adaptation of the novel of the same name by Paloma Bravo, it features a screenplay by Manuel Gancedo.
The story of ‘Solos’ revolves around a dinner between four friends who, accompanied by a glass of wine, try to stay away from their problems. However, the calm doesn’t last long. As the night unfolds, their dissatisfactions begin to surface, and unsettling topics arise: fear, relationships, friendship, sex, work, and death.
A story that speaks about everything in lowercase, with humor, tenderness, and empathy. Between pain and laughter, the protagonists will try to face their fears and disappointments, regain hope, and, above all, learn to laugh at themselves.
Premiere at the Málaga Film Festival
The trailer is released ahead of its official presentation at the Málaga Film Festival, which will take place on Saturday, March 7, at 5:00 PM at Cine Albéniz. The event will be attended by the film’s cast, as well as director Guillermo Ríos and producer Eduardo Campoy.
This dramedy will be part of the Official Selection (Out of Competition) of the 29th Málaga Film Festival. The film will also be screened again on Sunday, March 8, at 7:30 PM at Multicines Rosaleda, ahead of its official theatrical release.
