Synopsis
Inspired by true events, 'The 39' tells the story of what happened after the wreck of the Santa María, when Christopher Columbus left 39 men behind on the island of Hispaniola. In this unfamiliar land—marked by internal tensions, Taíno prophecies, and secrets resurfacing from the past—the young Marín must clear his name. His fate becomes entwined with that of Canayma, a Taíno princess, as the surviving Castilians struggle to endure, face betrayal, and seek the gold that Columbus promised.
