'The Crossroad', recognized by The Wit at MIPCOM Cannes

'The Crossroad', produced by Secuoya Studios and Ay Yapim, has been recognized by the audiovisual consultancy The Wit during the global market MIPCOM Cannes. The mention took place at the renowned Fresh TV conference, focused on television fiction.

The consultancy The Wit is known for recognizing creative talent and the quality of audiovisual productions around the world. During its talk at MIPCOM Cannes, The Wit showcased titles from different countries and emphasized Spanish-language productions and Turkish dramas — two elements that come together in 'The Crossroad', an adaptation of the successful and Emmy-nominated 2018 series 'Brave and Beautiful'.

'The Crossroad' is the first story brought to screen by Secuoya Studios Stories. Produced by Secuoya Studios in collaboration with Ay Yapim, the series is directed by Alexandra Graf, with Eduardo Galdo serving as executive producer and Lele Portas as co-executive producer.

Viewers can enjoy new episodes of 'The Crossroad' every Thursday during Antena 3’s prime time slot (Spain), as well as via streaming on Atresplayer and Disney+.

Innovation and Sustainability

Secuoya Studios productions have been part of MIPCOM Cannes throughout the history of the market, thanks to their development, innovation, and sustainable creation. During the 2023 edition, the psychological reality show 'La caza: nada es lo que parece' ('The Hunt: Nothing Is What It Seems') was highlighted by The Wit as one of the most innovative and interesting formats of the season.

This year’s edition also recognized the studio’s sustainable project by awarding it the SDG Award 2025 for its commitment to audiovisual sustainability — an accolade that acknowledges the strategies and initiatives implemented in the field of sustainability.
