Produced by Secuoya Studios in collaboration with William Levy Entertainment, 'Under a Volcano' features executive production by Eduardo Campoy and David Martínez. The film is directed and written by Martín Cuervo ('La Bandera'), alongside screenwriter Irene Niubó ('Quién es quién').
William Levy ('Montecristo') and Maggie Civantos ('Vis a vis') are joined by Adriana Torrebejano ('Coartadas'), Fabiola Guajardo ('The Rich Also Cry'), Elia Galera ('Zorro'), Pino Montesdeoca ('The Vault'), and Antón Lofer ('La Bandera').
Synopsis
When Mario Torres, a military captain and pilot, arrives in Tenerife, the volcanic eruption seems to have subsided. Dani, a skilled volcanologist, fears a violent reactivation is imminent. Her warnings lead to conflict with the scientific committee of the responsible organization. With the town of Garachico under threat, the love and passion that sparks between them becomes as inevitable as any natural disaster. Once the threat is confirmed, both must fight against the volcano—and their own feelings.
