Eduardo Galdo came to Secuoya Studios in January 2023 to present a new project within the production company: Secuoya Studios Stories. His involvement in this new area includes the creation of his own projects and adaptations of successful international productions. Among Galdo’s most acclaimed work are ‘Heridas’ (Atresplayer) and ‘Arrayán’ (Canal Sur), as well as his more recent projects the film ‘Héroes de barrio’ and series ‘Desconocidas’ (Canal Sur).

 Renowned professional

After studying Biology and Fine Arts at the University of Granada, Eduardo Galdo left Spain to begin his international training at EAVE (MEDIA Programme of the EU) and Media Exchange (Los Angeles), where he specialized as executive producer, after which he created his own company, Galdo Media. Here he undertook a number of well-known productions like ‘Plaza alta’ (Canal Sur), ‘Lost in the West’ (Nickelodeon) and ‘Flipante Noa’ (Disney). Throughout his prolific career, Eduardo Galdo has received awards for his work on a number of occasions including: GECA 2002, Ondas 2005, the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Film Festival (2008), Academia TV 2007, the Camaleón de Honor (2009) and the Almeria Film Festival (2021 and 2022). As of January 2023 he has formed part of Secuoya Studios Stories as producer.
