'Humanity. A Story of Philanthropy', the new Secuoya Studios production for Fundación 'la Caixa'

Secuoya Studios produces Humanity: A Story of Philanthropy, a documentary that explores the transformative role of philanthropy, launching on March 20 on CaixaForum+, the online platform of Fundación 'la Caixa'. Directed by Jorge Bartolomé and executive produced by Raúl Serrano, this two-part documentary features some of the most influential figures in the global philanthropic sector.

Through eight projects developed in collaboration with Fundación 'la Caixa', this Secuoya Studios production delves into the impact of philanthropy in areas such as medical research, refugee support, local commerce promotion, and migrant integration. Through interviews with experts, beneficiaries, and key figures from the sector, Humanity offers an inspiring look at how these initiatives are helping to improve the world we live in.

Among the participants in the documentary are Javier Solana, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of Fundación 'la Caixa'; Artur Santos Silva, Trustee of Fundación "la Caixa"; Michael Kocher, Director General of the Aga Khan Foundation; Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR); Melissa A. Berman, Founder of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors; José María Álvarez-Pallete, former President of Telefónica and Fundación Telefónica; and Graça Machel, Founder and President of Graça Machel Trust.

The documentary highlights various projects, including Juntos!, MOM, Work4Progress, CaixaResearch, GAVI Alliance, ProFuturo, Escuela 42, and the work of Fundación de la Esperanza. With meticulous production and top-tier testimonies, Humanity brings viewers a tangible sense of the impact of solidarity.
