Secuoya Studios brings El cuento del lobo to cinema. A psychological thriller produced in collaboration with Álamo Producciones Audiovisuales and A Contracorriente Films, set to premiere on the big screen on May 16.

Directed by Norberto López Amado (La chica invisible, El cuaderno de Sara), the film features a stellar cast, including Daniel Grao (Julieta), Lucía Jiménez (Desaparecidos), Paco Tous (Zorro), and María Romanillos (No mires a los ojos).

El cuento del lobo is based on Duda razonable, the acclaimed play by Borja Ortiz de Gondra. A gripping story that delves into a profound moral dilemma, challenging the audience to reflect on the complex relationships between its characters: What would you do if revealing the truth could change someone else’s life forever?

Synopsis

Olga and Javier, a middle-class couple, witness their housekeeper receiving threatening messages on her phone. Disturbed by the situation, they decide to step in—only to find their lives taking an unexpected turn. As the girl’s father enters the picture, doubts and growing tensions raise more questions than answers, making the situation increasingly difficult to navigate.
